Ashampoo Connect allows you to download, manage and update Ashampoo’s programs from a single platform. It shows the company’s catalog, as well as offers paid and free programs in a dynamic and flashy manner.
When opening the program for the first time, it shows dialog boxes that display the functions of each section to guide you on how to use them. The sections are well organized and the software does not only show the paid-based programs, but also, those that are free, so it can be used by any type of users.
The program is hassle-free, runs fast and is easy to use. The Collection section arranges your downloaded programs so you can find them easily.
However, although it has a huge variety of programs, the categories of the catalog are insufficient. Also, the Activate Product section needs to be clearer in explaining that you need to purchase the activation code before performing this task. The programs can take a while to download depending on your Internet connection speed. As far as I could see, it does not have any manual or Help link; this can be a problem if one needs to consult them.
